And they’re off! Cedar Downs Racing Derby was built by Prior and Church in 1920, and is a Cedar Point classic! This is not just a normal carousel, but a racing carousel. Including Cedar Downs, only two racing carousels exist in the United States.

Cedar Downs Racing Derby features 64 two-passenger horses. Horses are arranged in rows four across, and move back and forth during the 15mph “race” to the finish.
